I miss living at our bush block in Dereel. Stepping out the back straight into the bush with a cup of coffee first thing on a Saturday morning was my fav thing to do. Ro
Yeah its a great way to live...I will surely miss this place when I eventually move into town...change is the only constant..and I have heard that its as good as a holiday...and I am in definite need of one of those...so it should be all good..Schmookie (Sylv)
Winter???Looking at your photos doubts begin to take root that the season you call winter, Sylvia, seems to be something totally different from what get if we talk about winter! ;-)I can see green leaves, blooming blommoms...... it looks more like a less warm summer or spring... ;-))But additionally there's a touch of silence and peace sticking to your images that emits a kind of winter calmness to the beholder, too. So I have to concede - although I find it difficult as a European from the northern hemisphere - that June can be a (kind of) winter month as well. Now I have to switch on my aircon and have to say good bye before I start sweating too much... ;-)Uwe.
Blossoms!....blooming blossoms, of course... ;-))
Such beautiful images, especially the photos of lichen. It looks like coral growing in the ocean.
Ha ha Uwe..It might look all warm and tropical..the sun may shine on occasion...but as Australia goes...Its pretty cold...0 at night and no more than 10-12 degrees during the day..Yeah yeah I know its not like your winters over there...The native trees flower at different times in the year...the yellow one is a winter flowering wattle..Well I'll leave you to your hot hot weather...I hope that all is well with you & yours...SylviaThanks Vintage, a bit to inspire some new pieces hopefully...Got to take advantage of the sun when it shines..
